My food service rotation took place at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. Finally, after months of clinical rotations, I was reunited with my partner!

Our theme meal was based on Mediterranean food, and the final menu had falafel, chicken schwarma,  tabbouoleh salad, tzatziki, hummus, spicy feta dip, and a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for dessert. To say our theme meal was a hit is an understatement- we had staff members coming to the kitchen to meet the interns that made the delicious food for the rest of the week. The most common feedback we received was "please add this food to the menu!"
